The Paraprofessional's Guide to Boardmaker Online

Calling all Paraprofessionals!  Come to this session and learn to use Boardmaker Online to support students and assist instructors in your special education setting.  Tips and tricks for how you can create, adapt, and use symbol-supported materials for instruction, behavior support, classroom accomodations, and student independence.  

Upon successful completion, participants will be able to:

Name 3 accommodations/modifications a student may need.

Find 5 activities in the Community to modify content in the general ed or special ed classroom.

Create an activity using a template.

Amber Dollar, M.Ed. is a seasoned educator with professional experience in a number of roles in the public schools including teacher, special education coordinator, transition specialist, and curriculum writer. She is currently an Education and Implementation Specialist at Tobii Dynavox.
