Expedition Education in Your Classroom

Course Description:  Join us for this introductory level webinar where we will explore Expedition Education, a Boardmaker Instructional Solution. This program allows teachers and SLP's a seamless method of delivering accessible, evidence-based ELA and social studies curriculum in grades three through twelve. Participants will learn how to deploy a highly engaging curriculum that is ready-made, standards-aligned, and interactive. This webinar will also explore the print components of this program, automatic data collection opportunities within Boardmaker Online, and, how to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.

Learning Objectives:  Upon completion, participants will be able to: 1.Describe three evidence-based strategies embedded in Expedition Education. 2.Identify three activities that directly correlate to today's College and Career Readiness Standards. 3.List two different kinds of data that is automatically collected and informs instructional decision-making.

This course will be offered for 0.1 ASHA CEUs (Introductory level, Professional area) until March 7, 2018.

Instructor Bio:  Amber Dollar, M.Ed. is a seasoned educator with professional experience in a number of roles in the public schools including teacher, special education coordinator, transition specialist, and curriculum writer. She is currently an Education and Implementation Specialist at Tobii Dynavox.
