Reducing Regression: Using Boardmaker Online for Extended School Year Services

Summer can be a difficult time for students with disabilities and their teachers. The momentum of learning during the school year is paused and many students regress in skills needed to progress in their IEP goals. Come learn how to use Boardmaker Online to keep students motivated and learning during the summer months.  Explore ways to create activities and activity sets that will keep students engaged in ESY or at home, and learn how to have summer progress data sent directly to the classroom teacher.

Learning Outcomes: Upon Completion of this session, participants should be able to:  Describe three important components of summer instruction, list two reasons to continue access to familiar activities during the summer, and identify three benefits of using Boardmaker Online for summer instruction.
