Gateway to Language and Learning in the Classroom

Description: Gateway to Language and Learning, found on the Series 4 software, provides a developmentally appropriate way for children to both learn language and communicate. Gateway was designed around a core word vocabulary that includes both single words and prestored phrases. In this session, participants will learn the rationale, organization, and power of the Gateway pages through exploration and discussion. Specific emphasis will be placed on how Gateway to Language and Learning can be used in classroom environments.
