Fundamentals of Literacy for AAC Users


Training Type: Introduction to AAC

Description: Individuals using AAC need opportunities to participate in high quality literacy experiences.  Unfortunately, this does not always happen.  During this session we will explore ways to overcome barriers and integrate our AAC users into commonly occurring literacy activities.  Examples from the areas of word study, reading, and writing will be shared.  The Xpress, Tango, and V/Vmax devices as well as the ALL curriculum will be highlighted.
