Answer:

You can use a wired network connection to access the Internet through your V/Vmax, V/Vmax+, or Maestro device.

Note: Before you can use your V/Vmax or Maestro device for any Internet activities, you must acquire Internet service through a third-party vendor. DynaVox Technologies does not provide Internet access.

I.  V/Vmax

You must connect a network cable to the Ethernet port on the left side of the V/Vmax device. Once the network cable is attached, your device will be seen as a typical Windows computer on the network.

II.  V/Vmax+, Maestro

The Maestro and Plus devices do not have a built-in Ethernet port.  You will need to connect a USB 2.0 Ethernet Adapter to use a wired connection (DynaVox part number 501941/$30.00 - Contact Customer Service at 800-344-1778 option 1 then option 2).  Connect the network cable to the USB Ethernet adapter.  Once the network cable is attached, your device will be seen as a typical Windows computer on the network.

Note: Some USB 2.0 Ethernet adapters may require the installation of additional drivers.
