When will I receive my DREAM loan equipment?
I need my DREAM devices right away. How soon can I have them arrive?

When will I receive my DREAM Loan equipment?

The DREAM Loan program allows the evaluator to pick the day they want to receive the equipment. Please fill in the “Requested Arrival Date” field with the date you would like the equipment to arrive. We can not guarantee a time of delivery, only the date it will arrive, so the day that you pick for delivery will not count as part of the loan period. If DynaVox is unable to meet your requested date, we will notify you and give you an estimated time of arrival.

I need my DREAM devices right away. How soon can I have them arrive?

The DREAM program does allow for a fast turn around. All of our orders ship to arrive in three days. We can ship an order the same day we receive the contract, provided it is received before 2:00pm est and we have the inventory available.

How many devices can I borrow?

The DREAM Loan program allows you to borrow up to four (4) different devices. You can have any four devices, but never two of the same.

How long can I keep the equipment?

You will be able to keep the devices for a period of five (5), seven (7), or twelve (12) days, depending on the loan period you selected. The loan period starts the day after you receive the equipment, and we ask that you ship it back to us using the supplied prepaid UPS label the day after the loan period expires. Weekends and holidays do count into this loan period.

Can I extend the loan period?

DREAM loans can not be extended for any reason; however you are welcome to submit another loan request to arrive after you have returned the original loan.

Can you guarantee I will receive my equipment on the date I requested?

The DREAM program prides itself on meeting the needs of all evaluators, however sometimes our demand exceeds our supply. If for any reason we can not supply the requested equipment on the requested date, we will contact you to find a solution. The best way to ensure delivery on the date you need is to submit your request as early as possible. This allows us to plan our shipping schedule accordingly.

Can I send the device home with the individual I am evaluating?

The program is set up to supply the evaluator with equipment that will be used during an evaluation. We do not encourage loaning out the borrowed equipment, but if you choose to, please remember the evaluator that signed the loan agreement is responsible for any damage to the equipment while it is on loan.

Now that I am finished with the loan, how do I return the equipment?

DynaVox supplies a UPS return shipping label with every DREAM loan. To return the equipment at no cost, all that you need to do is securely pack the equipment in the provided shipping case, apply the return label over the existing label, and drop it off at the nearest UPS pick up location. Please be aware that if you ask UPS to pick up the equipment from your location they may charge you a pick up fee of $10 that is not covered by DynaVox.
