Configuration Options

The device may be ordered in Dedicated or Standard setups. The Dedicated setup is designed specifically to run communication software only, which includes email and text messaging. The user will not have access to other applications. This setup meets the “Speech Generating Device” requirements of Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurers who generally follow Medicare’s Speech Generating Device guidelines. If desired, a key can be purchased for a Dedicated device in order to convert it to a Standard device.
