Switch Access Kit
This kit allows users to connect switches to the Palm³ device for auditory and visual scanning and Morse code input. The kit consists of the Switch Access Interface Adapter Box and Serial Cable. (Both items are available separately.) The switch interface box can have up to five switches plugged in at the same time and can send those signals to the device. Two switches are available for scanning and three are available for Morse code.

Switch Access Interface Adapter Box
The Access Box, when connected with a Serial Cable to the Palm³ device, allows users to connect switches to the device for auditory and visual scanning and Morse code input. This item is also part of the Switch Access Kit.

Serial Cable
Serial cables are RoHS compliant and are used to connect a Switch Access Interface Adapter Box to your Palm³. This item is also part of the Switch Access Kit.

User-Accessible Carrying Case
A padded case ships with each device. The case protects the Palm³ while allowing use of the device without removing it from the case. A shoulder strap and waist strap are included for carrying ease and comfort.

Sync Cable
One Sync cable ships with each device. Sync cables are used to connect your Palm³ to a computer. They are RoHS compliant.

AC Charger Adapter
One AC charger adapter ships with each Palm³. This device charges the Palm³’s internal battery or supplies household current to the Palm³ for times when the battery is not available. Extras are available for customers who want to keep charger adapters in several locations or who need to replace a lost or damaged charger adaptor.

Replacement Stylus
Keep a replacement stylus on hand in case yours becomes lost. Sold in a unit quantity of one.

Fingertip Stylus
A fingertip stylus is an alternative to the stick type of stylus that may be hard for some users to grasp. With the fingertip stylus, selection is easier and more accurate. Made of a highly flexible and durable nylon compound, the TrueTip® finger stylus will expand and conform to almost any finger. Sold in packs of three.

External Bluetooth® Keyboard
With wireless technology from Bluetooth® that’s built in to the Palm³, you can connect an external Bluetooth-compatible keyboard to your device. Skip the cumbersome wires and confusing connections with this full-size keyboard.

Standard (Open) Device Key
Users who have a “dedicated” (closed) device may wish to convert that device to a “standard” (open) configuration. A dedicated device is one that is used solely for AAC and meets specific Medicare funding requirements. A standard device can be used to connect to the Internet and other purposes. A software ‘key’ allows the user to convert a dedicated Palm³ into a standard device. This key is supplied to the user on a CD.

User’s Manual
One user’s manual is shipped with your Palm³. If you lose yours, don’t panic. You can purchase an additional copy.

Velocity
Velocity is a comprehensive communication system created expressly for the Palm³ version of Impact software by Christine Scally (MA, CCC-SLP). Designed for elementary school-aged children, Velocity’s activity-based organization provides for fast and flexible conversations. On each Situation Page your child has one-tap access to off-situation talk, so he or she can discuss the latest fads and keep the conversation rolling. New messages can be generated using the readily accessible word bank, onscreen keyboard, and word prediction.
