Configurations & Pages:  Downloadable Files for Your Impact Device

If you know how to connect your Tablet XL device to a Windows PC and use your PC Editor, then you can download these configurations and use them on your device. The configs are stored as "packed files". To use one of these configs, you'll need to download the packed file and unpack it using the following steps:

• Click on "Download", choose "save to disk", and select a folder to temporarily store the packed config. We suggest putting the file in "C:\Program Files\Impact Products\Portable Impact Editor" (or wherever you installed the PC Editor if you did not use the default installation folder).

• From your PC Editor choose "Tools > File Utilities > Unpack Config". Select the packed config you just downloaded. The configuration will now be available on your PC under "File > User Configs".

• To transfer the config to your device, connect your device to the PC and select "Tools > Transfer Utilities > Transfer Files" from your PC Editor. Select the config and click on "Copy to Device" to initiate the transfer.
