Ideal for individuals with strong literacy skills who like the familiarity of a computer keyboard, the DynaWrite allows augmented communicators to easily create messages of any length or complexity. And, with either wired or wireless connections, you can hook up the DynaWrite to your PC for emailing, word processing, and all your favorite applications.
Out-of-the-box simplicity.
The familiar keyboard interface of the DynaWrite will have you typing immediately while you view your message on the screen as you compose it. When you’re ready, press the “Speak” button and your message is communicated in natural-sounding DECtalk or VeriVox synthesized voices. Choose from US, UK, or Australian English or a bilingual French Canadian/US English version.
Record favorite phrases.
Use the built-in microphone and Voice Retention Technology from DynaVox to bank up to an hour of digitized voice recordings. Favorite phrases, expressions, or stories will be ready to go.
Faster communication.
Speed message composition with word prediction and abbreviation expansion. The built-in spell checker means the right message is communicated more quickly. Besides the integrated keyboard, access methods include single switch scanning, and dual-switch scanning.
Coordinate with other technology.
For more control and convenience, use the DynaWrite in place of a standard keyboard to interface with a computer through wired or wireless connections. With optional wireless AccessIT technology, you can operate your computer and all your favorite applications without the hassle of wires or cables. The onboard universal remote control lets you run a television, CD or DVD player, infrared phone, or any other item that can be operated with a remote control. Connect to a landline telephone with PhoneIT, an accessory from DynaVox. Dial, pick up, hang up, and communicate with the DynaWrite.
