SCATIR
The Self-Calibrating Auditory Tone Infrared (SCATIR) Switch is designed for use by persons who experience difficulty in activating mechanical switches. It is a momentary-contact optical switch with auditory feedback. The SCATIR switch works by detecting a beam of reflected pulsed infrared light. It is suitable for use with a variety of control gestures, such as eye-blink, eyebrow movement, finger movement, head movement, and facial muscle movement. It can be activated at a distance so the controlling body part does not need to be in physical contact with the switch sensor.

Protective Carrying Case
Padded and water-resistant, these cases make it easy to safely transport the DynaWrite and its power supply. A shoulder strap and handle are included with these heavy-duty cases.

Handles and Shoulder Straps
You can purchase additional handles or shoulder straps for your carrying case.

User-Accessible Carrying Case
This case protects the DynaWrite while allowing you to use it without removing it from the case. It includes a sun shield for the screen.

Keyguards and Moisture Guards
Keyguards from DynaVox enhance efficiency for those with limited fine motor skills. The metal frames fit over the DynaWrite keyboard to separate the keys, boost keystroke accuracy, and provide a solid resting spot for hands. Moisture guards in flexible and durable clear plastic fit snugly over the DynaWrite’s keyboard and prevent moisture or debris from damaging the keyboard.

Internal Battery
Your DynaWrite is powered by a rechargeable lithium ion battery. You can purchase an extra battery to have a charged back-up battery on hand.

AC Charger Adapter and Power Cord
One AC charger adapter and power cord ship with each DynaWrite. Extras are available for customers who want to keep charger adapters in several locations or who need to replace a lost or damaged charger adapter. Charger adapters and power cords can be purchased separately.

PhoneIT
PhoneIT affords augmented communicators the opportunity to hold private telephone conversations by connecting a standard telephone landline to their DynaWrite device. Augmented communicators can use PhoneIT to “pick up” and “hang up” the receiver, and dial phone numbers. Setup is simple and straightforward, and the CD included with your purchase includes PhoneIT page sets for the DynaWrite.

AccessIT
Augmented communicators using the DynaWrite can wirelessly access Windows®-based computers with AccessIT from DynaVox. Avoid the hassles of using two different keyboards and connecting wires or cables. For ease of use and portability, AccessIT connects to and is powered through the computer’s USB port. And, for individuals challenged by significant communication and physical disabilities, AccessIT provides an easy, streamlined alternative to the traditional computer keyboard.
