Device Holders
The Device Holder is the part of a ConnectIT Mounting System that holds the device being mounted via the device's ConnectIT® Plate. All ConnectIT Device Holders and Plates allow for a 'quick-release' to allow for the device to be easily attached and removed from the mount.
A Device Holder is already included in all ConnectIT Mounting System configurations.
The ConnectIT mounts use special high-strength vibration dampening aluminum tubes that are 7/8" in diameter - this is the same outside diameter as the tubes on Daessy mounts and CJT mounts. Thus, any user with a Daessy or CJT mount can choose to use one of the following ConnectIT Device Holders on those mounting lines.
Device Holder Models
Standard Device Holder
The Standard Device Holder requires a 5mm hex-head tool to adjust. This is the Device Holder that is included on all "Standard" ConnectIT® wheelchair mounts.

One-Lever Device Holder
The One-Lever Device Holder is functionally similar to the 'Standard' Device Holder - in that one item controls both the orientation of the ball joint as well as the location on the tube. The difference is that this Device Holder has a lever, and does not require a tool to adjust.

Two-Lever Device Holder
The Two-Lever Device Holder is the most versatile of the ConnectIT device holders. It has one lever to control the ball joint orientation, and another to control the positioning on the mount tube.
This is used on the Floor Stands, the Desktop mount, and the EyeMax versions of the ConnectIT wheelchair mounts.
