Reading is critical to any learner’s success. The ALL Reading Curriculum, developed by researchers Janice Light and David McNaughton of Penn State, is a unique tutoring curriculum. It’s designed to teach reading skills to students with a range of disabilities, including Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, autism and developmental apraxia.

ALL works for all communicators
Based on the recommendations of the National Reading Panel, ALL is designed to meet the needs of individuals who use AAC. It encourages independent practice and review for learners met with complex communication and physical access challenges. ALL allows learners to bypass the need for oral responses in support of alternative access techniques. It meets the needs of learners at home and at school, and can be used with Boardmaker Plus!, Boardmaker with Speaking Dynamically Pro and the DynaVox V and Vmax.

Make it work for you
ALL provides parents and teachers with resources to help them encourage reading success. You can track learners’ progress using automatic data collection, error analysis and assessment reports. The software alerts instructors to areas that require more instruction, and adjusts lessons based on learner performance. Spend time focusing on developing skills rather than assessing needs with instructional materials customized to meet each learner’s needs (content, format, symbols). The software also includes measurable goals that are easily adapted for IEPs.

There are four models of ALL Curriculum:

School Edition for Windows Install on any PC. Allows multiple students to access the curriculum from a single computer. Tracks each student’s progress.	Home Edition for Windows Installs on any PC. Allows a single student to access the curriculum. Provides a powerful, low-cost literacy solution for families.
For DynaVox V/Vmax Installs on any Open V or Vmax device. Access the lessons using the AAC software with the same access method.	For Boardmaker Plus! or Boardmaker with Speaking Dynamically Pro Installs and works on any PC that has Boardmaker Plus! or Boardmaker with Speaking Dynamically Pro v6.1.3 or later Access the lessons using the AAC software with the same access methods.
