Extremely Portable Communication Solution for Individuals with Cognitive Disabilities

release of iChat?, an extremely portable, lightweight communication solution. iChat
is an extension of the company's current product line. Featuring straightforward
Picture Communication Symbols® (PCS®), iChat allows individuals who rely upon symbols
for communication to effectively and efficiently compose and deliver messages using
pre-programmed words, phrases and complete sentences.
iChat features include:
- Communication software backed by clinical research. VocabPC©, a symbol-based vocabulary
system developed specifically for use by adolescents and adults with moderate to
severe cognitive disabilities.
- Crisp, clear screen that can be seen easily indoors and out. DECtalk® speech synthesizer.
- Capacity to hold up to 218 minutes of digitized speech and sound.
- An integrated speaker that delivers crisp clear sound. On-device or PC page editing
capabilities.
- An integrated second battery providing uninterrupted communication for the entire
day.
- One year of comprehensive DynaCare® coverage.
