Description
An intensive therapy camp for children who use AAC devices and a training program for their parents. Sponsored by the Children's Specialized Hospital in Mountainside, NJ, the camp gives children an opportunity to interact with other children using AAC systems while learning to use their devices in functional activities. "The Amazing Race" will be this year's theme. Camper teams will compete in a weeklong fantasy race through Italy, England, France, Germany and Brazil earning points as they build expressive language skills in their effort to reach the Mardis Gras in New Orleans for the closing extravaganza.
