General | Medicare | Private Insurance | Funding Manager
The most current version of the Funding Manager is version ‘E’.
Clicking the “Archive” button will move the client’s XML data file (i.e. the client’s active file) from the “XML/Client XML” folder to the “FM_Client_Files” folder. That client will no longer appear in the Client List. You will be asked to confirm that this is what you want to do.
To un-archive a client, open the client’s folder in the “FM_Client_Files” folder. Drag the client’s .xml file back into the “Client XML” folder (located in the “XML” main folder). This will restore the client’s information to the Client List.
To locate an archived file select: local drive (typically C: drive) ? ‘Program Files’ folder ? ‘DynaVox’ ? ‘DynaVox Funding Manager’ ? ‘FM_Client_Files’ & select the specific client’s file/folder [This description appears when you archive the file].

Clicking the “Delete” button will delete the client’s data from the Funding Manager list, application AND the XML data file. This means that you will no longer have access to this file. This operation can not be undone and you will be asked to confirm that this is what you want to do.
If you are using the Backspace function to edit a document and it does not appear to work, make sure additional forms are not open. This appears to occasionally happen when other forms/documents are open simultaneously. Closing any additional forms (e.g. Client Information form, Benefits Release, etc.) should resolve this issue.
The Funding Manager software should work if you have the virtual PC program for Mac (This allows a Mac user to run PC programs).
There is also an alternate report template. This report template was created by Dr. Pamela Mathy, Director of Clinical Services at Arizona State University. It contains the sections required by Medicare and is an alternative to the AAC Report Template found in the DynaVox Funding Manager. Dr. Mathy’s report template is located in the “Resources” section of the Funding Manager program. This report template can also be found at http://aacfundinghelp.com/ (This is the link to the Assistive Technology Law Center. Just click on the “AAC Report Coach”.)
If you are simply looking for an example, you can always download a sample report from our website. You can also contact the DynaVox Funding Department or your local sales consultant.
