Hello All!

In an effort to get a dialogue started, I'm going to do things a little different. I'll post three times a week and ask questions on various topics.
How many AAC devices have you owned? How have they differed in your ability to communicate?
In my case, I've had three devices. My first was a laptop with the DynaVox software on it. The second was the DynaMyte 3100 and I'm currently using the DynaWrite.
The laptop was useful because I also needed a computer for classes, though with the external speakers it was not very portable. This was not the case with the 3100, which had better sound and portability. The DynaWrite is the best device I've had because of its portability and my typing skills.
Please feel free to answer the question or comment on my post to start a much needed dialogue!

Speak Openly!

Before my Vmax, I used all four past generations of DynaVox devices. In 1993, I used a Real Voice by Words Plus and about 1982 a Handy-Voice 1-10. The two most notable difference with the DynaVox products were the clear voice output and dynamic display that made my life explode with opportunities. I would say this even if I didn't work for the company.
