Every owner of a V or Vmax also will enjoy the benefits of instantaneous global communication with a complimentary DynaVox email account. Not only can you send and receive emails, but you can also text-message others from a Bluetooth-enabled cell phone (purchased separately) and surf the Internet straight from the devices. Moving from online to face-to-face communication is fast and seamless.

Featuring an open architecture, the V and Vmax provide an onscreen keyboard that allows augmented communicators to use the device as a Windows XP computer for work, school and leisure activities. Original academic and game pages spanning a wide range of ages and interests are also included. The pages include a human skeleton for biology lessons, a barnyard scene, paper dolls and classic games such as Tic-Tac-Toe and Hangman.
